Our Goal
At Seminole HS, our goal is to find every college eligible senior an opportunity to play football at the next level if they are looking to do that! There is somewhere for everyone to play if their desire is strong enough! We want to be the top producer or college football talent in Central Florida!
Our Success
Here at Seminole we have had incredible success with recruiting, thanks to the hard work of our players and coaching staff! Since 2019, we have had 66 seniors sign Letters of Intent to play college football at a 4 or 2 year institution. Of those 66 seniors, 23 have signed to play at the Division 1 level of college football.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible to play football at the next level, HS seniors must meet several requirements:
High School graduate or GED equivalent
Core GPA of 2.3(Division 1), 2.2 (Division 2) - This is based on CERTAIN HS courses. It is not the same as your overall GPA.
Must apply with the Eligibility Center for the football entity they plan to play for; either NCAA or NAIA
Financial Aid
All eligible HS graduates can receive Federal Student Financial Aid after graduation. In order to find out how much Financial Aid you can receive, all players who are serious about playing college football need to fill out the FAFSA. The FAFSA is the application for Federal Student Aid and needs to be completed by June 1st of the year you plan on attending college; whether you play football or not! HS Seniors who are serious about playing football at the next level should complete the FAFSA application online at StudentAid.gov as soon as it opens for each school year; usually on December 31st.
